1. Parties and scope

The ticket contract is between the buyer and the organizer identified on the event page. DOT360 Network, trading as DOT TIX, provides the ticketing technology and usually acts as the organizer's disclosed payment collection agent. Payment successfully collected by DOT TIX on the organizer's behalf discharges the buyer's payment obligation for that amount.

A merchandise or add-on contract is between the buyer and the seller identified on the product page, event page or order confirmation. DOT TIX provides the storefront, checkout and payment administration and usually acts as the seller's disclosed payment collection agent. The seller supplies the product or benefit and is responsible for its description, stock, fulfilment and mandatory consumer remedies.

If DOT360 Network is identified as the organizer or seller, it is also the event or product supplier. Event, venue and product rules disclosed before purchase are incorporated into the relevant contract. This Policy prevails for ticket and merchandise transactions, cancellations, returns, refunds and event changes, and mandatory law prevails over all policies.

2. Before you place an order

Before buying a ticket, review the event title, organizer, date, start time, time zone, venue, ticket tier, quantity, seat or table details, included add-ons, accessibility information, age and ID requirements, transfer or resale restrictions, refund summary and total price. Before buying merchandise, review the seller, product description, size or variant, quantity, stock status, delivery or collection method, estimated timing, return information and total price. Tell us promptly if information appears incorrect.

The organizer or seller may set disclosed limits per person, account, payment method, household, event or product. Orders that exceed a limit, use automation, misuse a code or appear linked may be cancelled and refunded.

3. Pricing, fees and taxes

The event or product page shows the price set by the organizer or seller. Applicable tax, including VAT where required, and any optional add-on, shipping or delivery charge are itemized before you place the order. The checkout total is the amount you authorize. No undisclosed mandatory fee will be added after confirmation.

Prices and availability may change before an order is confirmed. If a price is obviously wrong because of a genuine listing or system error, we, the organizer or the seller may cancel the order and return the full amount paid. We will not use this right merely because demand or market price changed after a valid confirmation.

4. Inventory holds and checkout

Adding a ticket, table, add-on or merchandise item to checkout may hold inventory or stock for the countdown shown. A hold is not a confirmed order. If time expires, payment fails or verification is not completed, the hold may be released and price or availability may change. We are not responsible for another buyer purchasing released inventory.

4.1 Waitlists

Where a waitlist is available, joining it does not reserve inventory or guarantee an offer. DOT TIX may automatically offer a returned or released ticket in the order or manner disclosed. An offer is subject to the price and terms shown at checkout and may expire if it is not accepted and paid for within the stated period.

5. Payments

DOT TIX supports payment methods displayed at checkout, which may include card, bank transfer and USSD through Paystack, Flutterwave and Zenith GlobalPay. By placing an order, you confirm that you are authorized to use the payment method and authorize the total charge.

DOT TIX may route checkout to, or offer a switch between, available gateways to improve payment completion while preserving the displayed inventory hold where the Platform supports it. A payment link sent through WhatsApp opens a hosted gateway checkout; do not send full card details, a PIN, password or one-time code in chat.

An order is confirmed only after payment is successfully verified. A bank or gateway may place a temporary authorization hold even where payment does not complete; release timing is controlled by that provider. Contact support if an apparent duplicate charge remains captured after the provider's normal reversal period.

6. Confirmation, delivery and invoices

After successful payment, DOT TIX sends an order confirmation, receipt or invoice and any ticket through the delivery channels shown, which may include email and WhatsApp, and stores the current ticket under My Tickets in the holder's DOT ID. Guest purchasers may use order lookup with their email and order code. Merchandise delivery or collection is governed by section 19.

If you do not receive confirmation, do not place a second order until you check My Tickets, order lookup or support. A payment receipt without a confirmed order or ticket does not by itself guarantee admission; we will verify the transaction and either issue the ticket or return the captured amount.

7. The ticket licence

Each valid ticket is a limited, revocable licence from the organizer to the named or lawful holder to attend the specified event once, subject to this Policy and event rules. It is valid only for the event, date, time, tier, seat, table, gate or benefit stated.

A free, complimentary or guest ticket remains a limited admission licence, has no cash value and may be subject to capacity, holder assignment and transfer restrictions disclosed for the event.

A holder must present the current valid ticket and any required identification. Lawful refusal of admission or removal for fraud, an invalid or already-used ticket, failure to satisfy a disclosed age or ID rule, prohibited items, unsafe or abusive conduct, or material breach of venue rules does not create a refund right. This does not apply where admission was refused wrongfully.

8. QR security and Live Ticket

Tickets use signed, single-use QR codes. If a ticket is expressly designated as a Live Ticket, its on-screen code may refresh and the event notice may require display from the current account and reject screenshots or printouts. A completed transfer, or a resale completed through an enabled DOT TIX flow, voids the previous code. Do not post, share or sell a ticket image. DOT TIX can guarantee authenticity only for the current ticket shown in the holder's account or issued through an authorized flow.

9. Group purchases and transfers

A purchaser buying for others may assign tickets to the intended holders at checkout and must ensure each holder receives and accepts the applicable event terms. Where transfers are enabled, a ticket may be transferred inside DOT TIX without a platform transfer fee. The sender must use accurate recipient details. Once accepted, the recipient receives a new ticket and the sender's ticket is void.

An organizer may restrict or close transfers for security, personalized tickets, age-controlled events, VIP benefits or a disclosed period. A transfer does not create a refund or change the event terms.

10. Optional Safe Resale

If DOT TIX makes Safe Resale available for an event, a holder may list a ticket through the enabled flow at no more than the permitted face value. A listing is not a guaranteed sale. When a resale completes, the original ticket is voided, the buyer receives a new ticket and the seller receives the amount stated in the resale flow, subject to the terms shown there, fraud checks, refunds, chargebacks and applicable tax.

Off-platform sale or advertising may be restricted where disclosed by the organizer. DOT TIX is not responsible for counterfeit, duplicated or invalid tickets acquired outside an authorized channel.

11. Voluntary cancellation by a buyer

A buyer may request cancellation of an advance booking before the scheduled event begins. The organizer's event-specific policy applies if it is more favourable. A cancellation policy cannot remove a mandatory right under applicable law, including section 120 of Nigeria's Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018.

Where a cancellation charge is permitted, it must be reasonable. It will be assessed using the nature of the ticket or service, the notice given, the organizer's reasonable ability to resell or mitigate the loss, unrecoverable transaction costs and relevant industry practice. The proposed charge and resulting refund will be shown or communicated before the cancellation is finalized, except where an immediate system cancellation is requested and the amount was already clearly disclosed.

No cancellation charge will be imposed where the person for whose benefit the booking was made cannot attend because of that person's death or hospitalization, subject to reasonable supporting information and applicable law. The information will be handled confidentially and only for the request.

A statement such as no voluntary refunds on an event page means only that the organizer may apply the maximum reasonable cancellation charge permitted by law in the circumstances; it does not waive statutory rights. Free ticket reservations should be released promptly if the holder will not attend.

12. Cancelled events

If an event is cancelled and not rescheduled, the holder is entitled to a refund of the amount paid for the unused ticket, including mandatory fees and tax, to the original payment method unless the holder affirmatively chooses a lawful credit or alternative event. Optional products already fully supplied may be treated separately where law permits.

DOT TIX will initiate eligible refunds as soon as funds and instructions are available and ordinarily within seven business days after cancellation is confirmed. Banks and payment providers may take additional time to post the credit.

13. Postponed, rescheduled or materially changed events

If an event is postponed or rescheduled, the ticket remains valid for the new date unless the notice states otherwise. The holder will be offered a reasonable opportunity to keep the ticket or request a full refund if unable to attend. The refund window will be stated in the notice and will not be unreasonably short.

If no new date is announced within 90 days after postponement, the holder may request a full refund. If a new date is later announced, the organizer may offer a fresh keep-or-refund choice.

A material change includes a new date; a move to a venue outside the same reasonable locality; a substantial change in scheduled time; a switch between physical and virtual format; removal of a headline or principal advertised feature without a reasonably comparable replacement; or a material reduction in the ticket's included benefits. A change of support act, running order, minor start time, stage, gate, weather plan or comparable seat is not normally material, unless the event-specific circumstances make it so.

14. Interrupted or partly delivered events

If an event starts but is abandoned, significantly curtailed or not delivered to the reasonable standard promised, the organizer will assess an appropriate full or partial refund, repeat performance, credit or other remedy based on the extent of performance and applicable consumer law. DOT TIX may process the remedy on the organizer's behalf.

15. Order errors and duplicate payments

1.   Duplicate captured payment: the duplicate amount will be returned after verification.

2.   Captured payment without a ticket: we will issue the purchased ticket if inventory and the authorized order can be verified; otherwise we will return the amount.

3.   Wrong event, date, tier or quantity selected by the buyer: submit a cancellation or correction request promptly; eligibility and any reasonable charge are determined under section 11.

4.   Pricing or inventory error: if the order is cancelled because of our, the organizer's or the seller's error, the full amount paid will be returned.

16. Refund method and timing

Refunds are normally made to the original payment method and in the original currency. If that is not reasonably possible, DOT TIX may request verified account details for another lawful method. Refund processing estimates are not guarantees because banks and gateways control final posting.

A refunded or charged-back ticket is void. A partial refund may proportionately remove ticket benefits. An order cannot receive both a refund and resale payout, return credit or another double recovery.

17. Chargebacks and payment disputes

Nothing prevents you from disputing an unauthorized, duplicate, incorrect or undelivered charge with your payment provider. For a valid purchase, please use the DOT TIX refund or support flow first so the issue can be resolved quickly. If a chargeback is opened, the affected ticket, order or payout may be temporarily suspended to prevent duplicate recovery, and we may provide transaction evidence to the payment provider.

18. How to request help or a refund

1.   Open My Tickets, order lookup or the merchandise order confirmation and select the affected order.

2.   Choose Request refund, Report payment issue or Contact support, as available, and state the reason and requested remedy.

3.   Provide the order code and any reasonable supporting information. Do not send full card details, PINs, passwords or one-time codes.

4.   The organizer or DOT TIX will respond through the tracked flow. If unresolved, you may escalate through the Help Centre and exercise any right to complain to the FCCPC or a competent court.

19. Merchandise and add-on orders

The seller identified on the product page, event page or order confirmation is the supplier of merchandise and add-ons. The seller must provide an accurate description, available variants, stock position, price, delivery or collection information and any lawful product-specific condition before purchase.

An order is confirmed only after payment is verified and stock is allocated. If the seller cannot supply an item or paid add-on, the amount paid for the unavailable item and any charge attributable only to it will be returned. Ticket, merchandise and add-on parts of a combined order may be fulfilled, cancelled or refunded separately where lawful.

Use an accurate delivery address and contact number. Delivery and collection estimates are not guarantees, but the seller must provide timely notice of an unavoidable material delay and an appropriate remedy where the delay or non-delivery breaches the contract or applicable law.

A buyer may cancel an advance merchandise order subject only to a reasonable cancellation charge permitted by section 120 of the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018. Where the buyer had no opportunity to examine goods before delivery, the buyer may reject them within a reasonable time if they do not correspond with the description, sample, type or quality contemplated by the sale. Unsafe, failed or defective goods remain subject to statutory quality rights, including the right within three months after delivery to return qualifying goods at the supplier's risk and expense for repair, replacement or refund. A custom, personalized or hygiene-sensitive product may have additional voluntary-return restrictions, but no restriction removes a mandatory right.

Start a merchandise claim through the Help Centre or the order confirmation and provide the order code plus reasonable evidence such as photographs where relevant. Follow the return instructions supplied for that order; do not send goods to DOT TIX unless the instructions expressly say to do so. Eligible refunds are normally made under section 16.
